Client Dynamite wins lawsuit ICS

Information and documents

In this case, Dynamite asked ICS for information and documents on behalf of the client. Client wanted to verify the legality of the registration. ICS refused to send these documents, after which the lawsuit was filed.

Transparency principle

The court is clear: The starting point of the Personal Data Protection Act is the principle of transparency. This means that anyone should be able to check whether his/her registration was rightly reported or not. A lender is therefore obliged to send the requested documents. Dynamite's client is thus vindicated!
